Serafina is an Italian restaurant famous for its never-ending and diverse options. Some classic appetizers include their famous meatballs topped with Parmigiano Reggiano, tomato sauce, basil, and toasted bread, and their bruschetta, featuring a simple toasted bread with marinated tomatoes, basil, extra virgin olive oil, and a touch of garlic. But, arguably even better are their pasta dishes; whether you’re feasting on their Spicy Penne Alla Vodka or their traditional Cacio E Pepe, there’s something for everyone. As someone who has been to one of Serafina’s locations, I would recommend trying their Tagliolini Tartufo Nero, which features Italian black truffle and Parmigiano Reggiano on a homemade tagliolini dish.
Certainly, no meal is complete without dessert. Serafina offers outstanding options such as a classic Chocolate Mousse, a rich, dark chocolate mousse cake which is served alongside vanilla gelato. If you’re not a chocolate lover, don’t worry! Serafina also offers unique and colorful dessert options such as their La Torta di Mele Verdi tart, a green apple tart that is also served alongside their vanilla gelato.
Still debating whether you should try their food after their opening? If you’re a fan of Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian, Sophie Sumner, or any of the other hundreds of influencers that have enjoyed Serafina’s quirky Italian spin on their food, you may want to give Serafina a try. Although there is no definite opening date for Tenafly’s Serafina, plenty of work is underway to get the restaurant up and running.
