Without intention, I was left out of the article titled “Teacher Racial Representation at THS Matters.” Reading that there were “zero” black teachers made me realize that I had gone unseen and therefore uncounted. I write this message to all of us who walk around trying to figure out where we fit and if we matter. We do and we aren’t invisible, we are just ourselves.
